Boathouse - River Hamble, Swanwick

Boathouse - River Hamble, Swanwick

Despite mixed reviews in the past, sinces its refurbishment in August 2024 the Boathouse in Swanwick has definitely improved a lot. The food won't blow you away but its decent and reasonably priced. And the location and views with plenty of outside seating offers a great place for a post boating drink. I recently had a breakfast here too which definitely hit the spot and the staff were very friendly. Worth a drink there sometime at the very least!

The Jolly Sailor - River Hamble, Swanwick

The Jolly Sailor is located on the River Hamble, opposite Swanick Marina. This lovely waterside pub offers hearty food (including great sunday roasts) and an unique dining experience on their converted pontoon seating area. There is a visitor pontoon for temporary mooring which is usually pretty easy to get on. Its a deceptively large pub, with lots of seaing inside and out when the weather allows!
