One of its key benefits is easy access to the Solent without hustle and bustle you get coming from locations such as Southampton or Portsmouth. Chichester Harbour Conservancy

Chichester Harbour offers two types of moorings. Maintained (serviced by the Harbour team) and private (maintained by the hirer). Applications are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. If no space is available, applicants join a waiting list, which requires a £50 fee deducted from the first mooring invoice. There are a few locations available but for dry moorings for small motor boats/yachts, prices start from £600~. Drying moorings (accessible at high tide) start around £900~ for boats up to 4m. Wilson Boat Yard

Family run well-sheltered boatyard near Mill Rythe which offers tidal moorings, boat services, storage, and brokerage for vessels up to 12 metres. Located within the Chichester Harbour Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it provides easy sea access to the Solent and good road and rail links to London. The yard maintains a traditional, no-frills approach focused on friendly, affordable boating services. Season moorings (1st April - 31st October) start from £700~ for up to 6 meters.
