As boat moorings go, the River Hamble is a pretty good place to be. With great access to the wider Solent as well as top facilities, its easy to see why people choose the River Hamble for moorings. Of course, there are lots of options at varying costs and beenfits. So I've put together this list of all the options I could find to make it easy to browse and see what the best mooring is for you.
Located about 5mins in from the entrance of River hamble is Hamble Ferry Moorings. Their single trot moorings (i.e single fixed buoy) start from £650/year + VAT up to 26ft. Hamble Harbour moorings are maintained by the Hampshire County Council. They have over 600 midstream moorings of which some are very popular and have a waiting list. Prices vary a lot depending on what you're after. For example, for piled mooring up to 8m in length, cost is around £745/year, including habour dues. A drying mooring site (i.e one that is tidal), starts at £367/year including habour dues. A pontoon mooring, starts at £232/meter/year. So excluding harbour dues, a pontoon mooring for an 8m will cost ~£2,000.

Located near the mouth of the River Hamble, Hamble River Sailing club. offers a variety of mooring options, most of which are in deep water positions. They offer a down river mooring option, opposite the club and an up river mooring option on the Warsash side of the river on the edge of the deep water channel. The latter is well suited to boats under 8 meters with a shallower draught.
Strictly speaking these moorings are offered to members first (who are directly inolved in sailing or volunteering) but worth checking as there are times where they can also offer non members an annual mooring.
